Another good article! I am strange, I think. I look for challenges – whether writing, -always a puzzle- or training dogs and horses. Not happy without some problem to solve. I pay no attention and give zero credence to the ‘wellness’ industry. To speak (too?) plainly: Bryan Johnson is an idiot – who wants to live forever? It’s hard to get old, and all his plans will not prevent that chronic illness waiting round the corner. As you say, so aptly, a predicament can only be borne. And I am learning that the hard way as we speak.
